6 m water fed pole kit with backpack pump and RO plant
This water fed pole kit gives you the core of a pure-water setup for glass up to 6 m in one box: a fibreglass pole with brush, a rechargeable backpack pump and a reverse osmosis plant. Expect it to be connected and working inside a few hours.
It suits double-storey homes, hard-to-reach windows and solar panels. The pump is matched to the pole, while the RO plant stays at home or at your premises, filtering tap water into a holding tank.

What it reaches
The 6 m pole is the double-storey size. Real reach depends on your height and the angle you hold the pole at, so treat 6 m as a guide, not a set window height. Triple-storey glass needs a longer pole.
How to use it
- Plug in the charger and put the backpack pump on charge.
- Connect a hosepipe from the mains tap to the Gardiner input fitting on the RO plant.
- Run the plant before the job to fill your tank or flowbin from the blue output. That is your pure water. Discard the waste water from the red or yellow output.
- Decant the pure water into 25 litre containers for the vehicle, then fill the backpack pump from them on site.
- Stand the backpack on the ground beside you and work off the 20 m hose.
Good to know
What else do I need to get started?
Two things are not in the box: a tank or flowbin for storing the filtered water, and several 25 litre containers for taking water to each job.
How much water does one solar panel take?
On average, 5 to 10 litres, depending on the size of the panel and how dirty it is.
Do I have to carry the pump on my back?
No. You can, but it usually sits on the ground beside you, and the 20 m hose lets you work while it stays put.
